New bowlers are always welcomed at the club, we have coaches to show you how if youve never bowled before, so why not get in touch or come along any Tuesday evening through April to September, Splott Park from 5.00pm onwards. You are under no obligation to join the club, just come along and try the game of bowls, we are here to promote the playing of sport in the local community.
The club plays in the Cardiff Mid Week League, the Cardiff Municipal League, and the W.B,A. Cup ( The Curuthers Shield ).We are members of The Welsh Bowling Association, and South Glamorgan Bowling Association. As well as league games we play friendlies and tour games through out the season, any club who would like to play a fixture against the club please get in contact, for more infomation you can use our quick contact page.
Our home green is Splott Park, Muriton Road where there are two six rink greens, the first green is used by St Alban's B.C. founded 1983 who run two sides, the second green is our green whom we share with Splott B.C., both greens are over 100 years old. Club competitions run through out the season, a great chance to play competitive bowls against your fellow members, always played in a great spirit, but every body wants to win.
All players are welcome, there is no age limit, if you think you would enjoy a sport that keeps you fit and active, and has a great social life, bowls may be for you, it costs nothing to have a go, all you need to bring is yourself, so come along.
