We are a small friendly Bowling Club, where new members are always welcome. If you just want to try the sport, or you are a seasoned bowler you are assured of a warm welcome, there are no age restrictions or skill levels needed to have a go at bowls.
You never know this sport may be for you.

We are a small friendly club, who welcome all, there are no restrictions for enjoying a game of bowls. Whether you have been playing bowls for many years, or someone who would like to try the game out, we could be for you. We have always had a great youth policy, we know that the youngsters in our community are the future of Splott Phoenix Bowls club.
The club is run by it's members for it's members, to engourage this sport in the local area and community for the local community. We have a team in both the Cardiff and Municipal League, and the Cardiff Mid Week League, the club plays many friendly games through out the bowling season, and regularlly welcome touring sides.
Bowls is as much a social event as a sporting one, where many friendships are made. The meeting and greeting of other teams visiting Splott Park starts a great afternoon or evening of bowling, we all enjoy bowling, but make no mistake we have a great will to win at league or cup fixtures.
Through out the season the Phoenix plays internal club competitions, so there is always bowling taking place at the club.
